In the belly work, the piano received a new hand-made soundboard, hard rock maple bridges, Delignit pinblock, 2/0 tuning pins, Roslau music wire, and G.C. Piano Co. bass strings. In addition, the plate has been refinished in catalyzed polyurethane, was re-lettered by hand, re-felted, and had new agraffes installed. The action consists of New York Steinway hammers, Renner hammershanks and whippens.

    The damper underlever system has been replaced with Renner components and rebuilt with revised geometry for superior pedaling. The damper heads were refinished and re-felted as well.
An entirely new keyset was installed, and it has been custom weighed-off for optimal downweight, lightning-fast upweight, and minimal inertia.

    Finally, the stunning case has been refinished in closed-pore, hand-rubbed satin lacquer. The instrument is offered with a matching superior artist's bench.

    This instrument will unquestionably outperform any new Steinway model O being considered. Indeed it offers the tonal palate of a model A or larger Steinway grand piano.
